London Evening Standard will be holding its next Business Connections event on 20th June, with leading names giving advice on how to raise capital and grow SME businesses.

‘An Audience with…’ will feature successful entrepreneur Doug Richard, MOBO Founder Kanya King MBE and Oliver Peyton, restaurateur and CEO of Peyton & Byrne. The three speakers will take to the stage to give practical tips on not only how to beat the odds when starting a new business, but also how to make it big.

About the speakers;

Doug Richard is a successful entrepreneur and ex-Dragon with 20 years’ experience in the development and leadership of technology and software ventures.

Kanya King MBE is an internationally recognised entrepreneur and innovator in the British music industry. Kanya is founder and CEO of MOBO awards. She has received numerous honours for her business and community achievements.

Oliver Peyton is the founder and chairman of Peyton and Byrne and a renowned restaurateur. His
restaurants are recognised as much for their impressive design as they are for the quality of their cooking.

Business Connections is part of the London Evening Standard's recently launched initiative dedicated to supporting London's SMEs (small to medium sized enterprises).

After the presentation and questions from the floor, the speakers will join the networking session where they will be available for further conversations on a one-to-one basis. Wine and canapés will be served.
