Rupert and Jo Clevely, co-founders of the award winning pub group Geronimo Inns have launched The Calf. Situated in the Westfield shopping centre in Stratford, The Calf is a brand new pop up dining and drinking experience in an enviable location where diners can enjoy fresh British produce, real ales, a selection of wines, and an extensive cocktail list, all whilst being situated within minutes of the Olympic Park.

Designed by Jo Clevely and Anneke Laux, the layout of The Calf is reminiscent of a mountain barn: rustic, comfortable and welcoming, with food displayed on a simple deli bar. Simplicity is a key part of The Calf’s design, with rustic stacking boxes behind the reconditioned bars displaying bottles of wine, Champagne, vintage milk churns and eclectic jugs and pottery. Hessian sacks feature heavily on the walls onto which are hung bull and goat horns alongside Panama hats, whilst tables made from giant straw barrels are placed near comfortable sofas plumped out with a variety of colourful cushions. An outdoor area completes the spacious pop up. The Calf can be exclusively hired for up to 250 people.
