Once again Spredluv take over Lockside Lounge with another DUB INNA DA CITY ALL DAYER -12hr Reggae Party

After the amazing vibes of Bermuda Day (June 4th) and the last Dub Inna Da City (April), Spredluv are back at Lockside Lounge on Saturday 14th July with another all-day Root Rock Reggae Session.
DUB INNA DA CITY is gaining a reputation for consistently bringing together some of the toughest selectors around that have kept the masses bubbling all night long.

With the likes of CHANNEL ONE, REGGAE ROAST, VISIONARY UNDERGROUND, J-STAR and KOICHI SAKAI - to name but a few -having already blessed the dance, we can now add one of the UK’s supreme selectors/producers to the ever growing list.

This time around we are very excited to announce that Headlining this killer all day session showcasing the best in Roots, Rockers, Reggae, Dub, Ska, Dancehall, Dubstep & D&B will be none other than the mighty Mongo’s Hifi, who have been blazing a reggae trail since their formation in 2000 serving up some serious riddims – Mongo’s Hifi style.

Also joining DUB INNA THE CITY resident DJs, J-BLAKKE, DJ FLUXMAN & BEATNIKBERMUDA on the decks are DJs Seasons (RAMPING) & Dymond (EXPRESSION) represent Lockside Lounge’s Lockin and EAT YOUR GREENS DJ who will be playing their toughest selections, spanning the whole spectrum of roots-reggae music that will no doubt raise the roof!

Mongo’s Hifi

Whether they are hosting the Mungo’s courtyard arena at Outlook festival, releasing a slew of massive releases on their Scotch Bonnet label, featuring celebrated vocalists such as Movado, Sugar Minot and Earl 16 or crisscrossing the globe and mashing up dance floors and arenas with their 21st century rub-a-dub style. You can rest assured that this Glasgow based group will always bring a freshness to the dance, a freshness that can be heard on the excellent Dubstep remix of ‘Reggae Music’ EP, released on Reggae Roast’s label featuring the sweetened vocals of Earl 16.

This track would go down well in a call and response to Gappy Ranks’ “Put the Stereo On” just before you go into your Dubstep - hint, hint DJs!

This is set to be another massive all day dance full of Dub, Ska, Roots, Rockers, Reggae, Dancehall, Dubstep & D&B sounds, and Lockside Lounge is the perfect space in Camden London, for this dance with a reputation for top quality programming of Djs, live music, great food, great atmosphere and comfy seating throughout the venue as we send bass lines and roots vibes across the Camden Lock.

The vibes will begin to build from 3pm on the terrace and are guaranteed to stay bubbling until 3 am.
