Brompton Cemetery, founded in 1840, is the most central of London's Magnificent Seven historic garden cemeteries. The Friends of Brompton Cemetery's annual Open Day offers a variety of introductory and themed tours, plus a rare opportunity to visit the cemetery's catacombs. Free attractions include exhibitions in the Anglican Chapel, a display of birds of prey, and stalls selling refreshments, crafts, souvenirs and publications from groups including other Friends of London's Magnificent Seven historic cemeteries.
