Wanderlust showcases a portfolio of evocative portraits of the Rabari nomads from Gujarat, India, taken by Chawla while tracking and living amongst their travelling community. Loosely translated, Rabari means “outsiders” or “wanderer”, given to the people due to their herding professions and lifestyle. The collection boasts a distinctive narrative of frugal simplicity and raw, primal power.
