Spend the games with us and enjoy world class culture in our garden of delights. Between July and September, as the eyes of the world are on East London, we will be entertaining Docklands and beyond with The Last Mile Festival: a mind blowing rolling programme featuring Olympics events on the big screen, theatre, live music, cabaret, art, amazing food and sideshows to provide a truly unique setting to enjoy the Olympic games.

Running from 28th July-12th August, and then from 29th August-9th September to celebrate the Olympics and Paralympics respectively, the Last Mile Festival marks the first time the full London Pleasure Gardens site is open to the public. A true Pleasure Garden for the 21st Century – with free entry all day every day, a beautiful meadow and a truly fabulous array of entertainment from Olympic tourists to local residents, artists to businesspeople and everyone in between.

The celebrations kick off on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th July with The Grand Opening Weekend, two days of free music and awesome spectaculars. Highlights include Muare By Duchamp Pilot, a visual and acrobatic spectacular featuring thirteen aerialists suspended 30 metres above the stage, a free headline set from DIY ska mavericks The Dualers, plus free sets from ten-piece tour de force East Park Reggae Collective, soul legend Geno Washington and charismatic hoe down merchants Cut A Shine.

Following this, London Pleasure Gardens will be open from midday until late each day with free entry to the site offering an atmosphere of urban adventure, packed with cutting edge artworks, dazzling sideshows, RIBA-designed follies, an Oyster Grotto, gorgeous food and, of course, well-stocked bars.
