Following spectacular performances by Singtank and AlunaGeorge, Sanderson Sessions 2012 in partnership with SOUNDS is well underway and the third session is now confirmed for Friday 20th July, presenting Swedish electro-goth princess Karin Park.

Karin Park may be a new name to many outside of Scandinavia but that is all set to change in 2012 as she unveiled her new album, a dark and magical set of experimental electronica and gothic pop, earlier this year. Tall, slim, boyish with a childlike demeanour, an iron will and a vocal range from pop to opera, Karin is a unique figure in the world of music.

Her highly anticipated album, “Highwire Poetry” was launched on 28th May. Karin’s unique blend of moody electronica, dark yet hooky choruses and her spell-binding voice all showcase her passion for industrial, experimental 80’s pop and the electronic sounds of today’s club-land. Karin’s live sets are undeniably electrifying, pushing musical boundaries and encapsulating what it is to be a truly modern artist while dodging any approaching pigeon-holes
