ARIGATO in LONDON is a 15 day FREE exhibition which starts on Saturday 28 July and takes place in London's County Hall.
The organisers of the exhibition are taking advantage of the fact that London will be full of tourists from all around the world during the London 2012 Games and the exhibition is a thank you from Japan for all the worldwide support that the country has received following the devastating Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami. It is also a chance for the Japanese people to show visitors to London how the country is recovering from the disaster.
The exhibition comprises various different elements which includes: Movies, Photographic Exhibition, Sake Bar produced by international ex-footballer Hidetoshi Nakata, Community Festival, Market selling locally produced crafts, Beer Terrace and much more.
Various different performances will take place daily which are suitable for all the family and includes traditional Japanese dance, drums and string instruments, paper cutting, flora art, calligraphy, animation and even a DJ set by world famous DJ Tsuyoshi Takashiro on 31 July. Performances will be held on the terrace stage at County Hall. Please see website for details
