On Sunday September 23rd, hundreds of people will walk together to raise money to fight dementia.
The London Memory Walk will take you through leafy parkland and past many famous landmarks like Battersea Power Station and Big Ben. There is a 2, 5, and 10 mile route to choose from which means that the whole family can take part.
There will be entertainment, food stalls and trade stalls to make a lovely fun day out for all whilst raising money on behalf of the Alzheimer’s Society.
Alzheimer’s Society is the UK’s leading support service and research charity for people with dementia and those who care for them. The money you raise through Memory Walk will help us provide local support services, so people you know and love can still live their lives well.
The Memory Walk as a whole raised almost £1 milliom last year and we are hoping that this year is just as successful! Sign up to the event online and bring the whole family along, family dogs and all. Help us make it a day to remember.
