Battersea Dogs & Cats Home Annual Reunion and Fun Day

Battersea Dogs & Cats Home will be hosting its 18th Annual Reunion in the leafy grounds of Battersea Park. Sponsored by Burns Pet Nutrition, this fun day out will be packed with stalls, games and refreshments – and everyone is invited!

Attending the event will be some of the stars of Battersea’s upcoming ITV series, so don’t miss your chance to meet them as they come out to play in the park too!

Come and peruse a variety of stalls - from dog beds, training equipment, accessories, leads and toys, to handmade jewellery and photography sessions, there is plenty to browse and buy. With competitions to enter and fab prizes up for grab, make sure you make it down to the park for your chance to win.

For children (and the young at heart) there will be hoopla, a coconut shy, bouncy castle, face painting, and much more besides.

Battersea haven’t forgotten their canine friends either and there is a wonderful opportunity for ex-doggie-residents to get together, catch up with old friends and make some new ones, the Annual Reunion will host loads of activities that celebrate man’s best friend. Think your woofer has the waggiest tail, or is the most handsome golden oldie? Enter him in Battersea’s fun dog show classes and see how he does. Of course, if your pooch is not one for the limelight, she can try her paw at one our canine games on offer, such as have-a-go-agility or Temptation Alley (or, if she can resist anything but temptation, how about catch the biscuit instead?) After all of this hard work, why not treat them to a cake or biscuit from the attending dog bakeries?

Finally, make sure you leave room for food as Battersea Dogs & Cats Home will be catering for everybody! Hot and cold food will be sold from a specially converted VW camper van, as well as popcorn and candyfloss from a vintage confectionary cart. Don’t forget Battersea’s infamous tea and cake stand, though, offering fabulous cakes from Battersea’s most talented bakers.
