Shine 2012

Shine is our new and unique night time walking marathon that is open to men and women to raise vital funds for Cancer Research UK in London this year.

The money raised is vital in helping fight against all types of cancers. Thousands of men and women—illuminated with light— will start their journey along the south side of the Thames River at Battersea Power Station. They will then travel through Battersea Park, over Albert Bridge and onto the North side of the river with breathtaking views along the way. The routes of both the full and half marathons will take participants past London’s most treasured sites including: the Tower of London, Tower Bridge, St Paul’s Cathedral, Houses of Parliament, The London Eye, Somerset House and much more.
