Brazilian Film Festival is back in London later in September with its fourth edition, bringing the best of the Brazilian contemporary cinema.

Fernando Meirelles’ latest feature Xingu will make its premiere in London on 25th September as part of the 4th Brazilian Film Festival. The event will take place at Odeon Panton Street, between 21 and 25 September. The film, produced by Meirelles (360) and directed by Cao Hamburger (The Year my Parents went on Vacation), tells the true story of three brothers who give up their comfortable lives to embark on a trailblazing mission through Central Brazil in the 40s.

Xingu will wrap up the festival which line-up includes other 11 features and 12 shorts, representing the finest of contemporary Brazilian film production. The festival director Adriana Dutra says: “This year’s selection is simply fantastic! It’s been a long time since I saw such a significant production! I am very happy with the curatorship. The festival will rock!”
