This 13-week beginners course will introduce you to the basics of tai chi and qigong. You will learn a set of easy and beneficial qigong exercises, and you will learn the first part of the Beijing 24-step tai chi form, as well as developing basic tai chi skills, for example in stepping and partnerwork.
Tai Chi (also spelt taiji, or, more fully taijiquan) is an ancient Chinese martial art, famous today for developing relaxation, reducing stress, and balancing body and mind.
By practising tai chi you will:
