Battle of Britain Weekend

The Museum's annual pageant commemorating Veterans of the Battle of Britain inclusive of talks, tours, tableaux and concerts.

Elements that have been confirmed for the weekend are as follows:

Spitfire Flypast, subject to weather conditions, on 15th Sept (timings to be confirmed).

Concerts by the Barnet Band underneath the Museum's Lancaster on 15th of September.

Concerts by the Royal Air Force Association President's Band on 16th of September.

Tours of the Museum's Battle of Britain Hall.

Screening of the classic film 'Battle of Britain' in the Museum's lecture theatre on the Sunday afternoon, with Reach for the skies shown on the Saturday.

Make and paint your own 1:72 Spitfire model courtesy of Airfix.

Scramble re-enactments of the Museum's helipad.
