Champagne Laurent-Perrier is proud to be the official champagne sponsor of the London Restaurant Festival 2012 for the second year running, as it continues to celebrate the most exciting of the capital’s restaurants and eclectic cuisine. Diners can once again enjoy a Laurent-Perrier champagne reception on the Gourmet Odyssey, and to mark its Bicentenary this year, Laurent-Perrier will also be hosting a special champagne-pairing menu on one of the routes.
The Gourmet Odyssey tours, London's most original gastronomic road trip, will this year be themed by style of restaurant to suit a range of culinary tastes. Each experience includes a Laurent-Perrier champagne reception, before enjoying a starter in one restaurant, main course in another and dessert in a third.
Those who appreciate timeless elegance will love the ‘Champagne Laurent-Perrier Bicentenary Gourmet Odyssey’, which visits old favourites such as Wiltons, Hix at The Albemarle and L’Atellier de Joel Robuchon, where guests will enjoy a glass of Laurent-Perrier champagne perfectly paired with each course. There will also be an East End tour and a New Restaurant Odyssey, taking in some of the capital’s best hangouts including Tramshed by Mark Hix, Hawksmoor in Spitalfields and the Old Bengal Bar.
Prices for the Gourmet Odyssey start from £105. Tours will take place on:
29 September – East End Odyssey
6 October – Champagne Laurent-Perrier Bicentenary Gourmet Odyssey
13 October – New Restaurant Odyssey
The annual celebration of the capital’s restaurants and chefs will continue its commitment to providing thousands of exciting festival menus across the city and will once again be serving up a schedule of extraordinary events to meet a whole range of tastes and budgets. From the new faces on the food scene to the celebrated chefs and restaurants, London Restaurant Festival is a citywide celebration of all things food.
