From the Smoggy streets of London to the shadowy streets of Salem Massachusetts, for one night only Darkstar Dance presents 'Dark Britannia' a showcase of the very best in dance, cabaret and macabre.

Aepril Schaile
Headliner Aepril Schaile is “an American priestess of the Dark Goddess”. Working through the ancient, and ever-evolving, art of Bellydance, she becomes Trickster, Warrior, Ghost, Storm, Grieving Mother, Killer, Seductress… Aepril’s performances invoke the archetypal Feminine creatively, shamanistically, theatrically, and compellingly.

Darkstar
Darkstar is a tribal and dark fusion belly dancer. She has developed her own unique style evolving elements of popping, ballet, oriental and ATS which she has encompassed in a darker aesthetic. She loves to use robotic, tutting and fluid stylisation’s to create dynamic , engaging routines. Renowned for her creative choreography and musicality, Darkstar has performed all over Europe and the USA.

Melissa Bellydance and Mahera
Melissa BellyDance and her Mahira Girls are based in London and perform at a variety of events. Melissa runs a belly dance school in London and also has online belly dance and fusion courses.

Snake Boy Sunny
Sunny (aka Snake Boy) has been dancing and performing for the past 11 years. Most of his free time is spent perfecting his dance technique and routines. His distinctive style is a collaboration of belly dancing and Bollywood with West Indian influences.

Demelza
Demelza is a professional belly dancer and belly dance instructor specialising in Tribal Fusion based in Cambridge, UK. Admired for her theatrical, passionate dance pieces, Demelza is a powerhouse performer of both Oriental Belly Dance and Tribal Fusion Belly Dance.

Galit Mersand
Galit Mersand is one of the most versatile belly dancers in the UK today. She enjoys pushing boundaries, using different dance and theatrical elements in her performance. Galit is famous for her unique one woman comedy shows 'Bellylicious' and 'Bellylicious the Sequel' which combines dance, stand up and singing which she has performed through out the UK and just recently got back from performing at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Shimai-Sisters in Dance
Shimai is a group of women with a complete passion for ATS who have joined forces for Dark Britannia. A collaboration of like minded dancers and teachers, they all share a friendship forged in the fires of this improvisational dance. — with Tribal Unity D, Helen Murphy, Philippa Moirai, Tracey Harris, Marisa Casadei and Lisa Thompson.

Dunya Bellydance
The award winning Dunya duo is dedicated to the artistic and diverse representation of Middle Eastern dance. Turkish-American Michelle Deniz and English Rosy Summerbell are Co-Artistic Directors who perform professionally internationally and teach in London. With a combined 30 years of dance and production experience, they have been especially passionate about Turkish styles.

Team Darkstar
Team Darkstar are a tribal fusion group made up of Darkstar’s level 2 students who have been working together for around a year and have grown together in their love of tribal dance. They hope to further develop and represent excellence within UK tribal fusion bellydance.

Roxana
Roxana creates a vibrant atmosphere wherever she appears, With graceful and high-quality performances. A talented London Belly Dance artist, she is an accomplished performer, instructor and choreographer. Skilled in several styles of belly dance, she can incorporate Veils, Isis wings, Fan veils, Sword and Stick dance for variety and entertainment.
