September 2012 will see the launch of FOLD - the brainchild of Apartment 58, ZEO and Klaus Haapaniemi - a collaborative project seeking to provide a creative hub like no other.
The three brands came together through a common desire to nurture creativity and discover new experiences under the FOLD concept.

FOLD – which has taken its inspiration from Apartment 58’s home from home concept, ZEO’s unconventional vision of the wonderfully unusual and unique design by artist and designer Mia Wallenius - can easily be transported and rebuilt at various worldwide design events and is designed to seamlessly function as a gallery, lounge, bar and event space.

Mia Wallenuis, the designer behind Klaus Haapaniemi and Apartment 58, adapted her distinct interior design signature into creating an authentic homely atmosphere based on traditional Finnish red and white wooden chalets whilst incorporating the brand essences of all three. Mia has incorporated a bespoke collection of upholstered furniture in hand woven silk brocades, hand tufted rugs and a specially designed ZEO bar for the FOLD project.

Throughout the day, members will have access to the latest technology including the newest Apple gadgets as well as access to the Apartment 58 playlists from notable members. At night, it will transform into a unique event space where some of London’s finest will gather.

Food and drink will be a strong focus for FOLD where the ZEO bar team will provide an encyclopaedic knowledge of drinks, creativity and standard of service with sensory experiential ZEO cocktails on the menu, providing members with morning to late night choices.

About Apartment 58
A members only space connecting and supporting creatives.
Since opening its doors in Soho this February, Apartment 58 has launched a new global concept with its first accessible work and socialising space for the creative industry. Apartment 58 aims to offer a high-tech home from home where members can access and use the apartment for both work and play. The simple concept offers intimate apartment and bar spaces with understated design and personal access available for members who can use the space to work, hold meetings, host events or simply socialise with some friends over a cocktail.

About ZEO
ZEO is a low calorie, sensorial drink created specifically for the adult premium market.
Until now, any adult on an evening out would have to choose between something alcoholic or sugary and sticky which will most likely be high in calories.ZEO – which is like nothing you’ve ever experienced before - offers a similarly refined taste profile to ‘distilled’-type drinks but without any alcohol and in addition to its blend of natural extracts and essences, delivers a range of sensorial effects (such as chilling, warming and tingling).

About Klaus Haapaniemi
