For the ultimate chocolate fix this Chocolate Week (8-14 October 2012), chocoholics will be delighted to discover that Restaurant at The RIBA, based at 66 Portland Place, London, has created three extraordinary chocolate infused sweet and savoury courses using luxury Fairtrade brand ‘Divine’ Chocolate.

Chef Leon Secretan has cleverly used the rich flavours of Divine Chocolate to add depth to his dishes. He says “Combining chocolate with savoury ingredients, like beef, is an adventurous feat for any chef. The rich taste and quality of the Divine Chocolate we have used to create our own savoury dishes really helps to bring out the flavours of the meat to create a unique tasting experience for our chocolate lovers”.

Diners can choose from a perky chocolate infused starter of ‘Bitter chocolate panna cotta, butternut squash and smoked chilli’, a meatier main course of ‘Cocoa coffee coated Hereford beef fillet, brisket, mushroom and thyme pie, cob nut sauce’ and finally an indulgent chocolate dessert (ideal for sharing) ‘Dark chocolate mousse, salted caramel fondant, white chocolate and blackcurrant jelly, milk chocolate sorbet’.

The special chocolate menu is available for a fortnight from 26 September-10 October* for lunch every weekday and dinner on Tuesday evenings and is priced at £19.50 for two courses and £23.50 for three courses.

To book a table, call on 020 7631 0467 or 020 7307 3747, or email [email protected]

*dessert will be introduced on the menu from 3 October
