The Water Carriers

We are proud to present new paintings by 16 year old Romanian gypsy artist Rebecca Covaciu who currently lives in Milan.

Since the age of 12 Rebecca has sold her pictures in the bars of the city at night. She has had a life of hardship yet her images are full of light and bright colour, with a great command of line and intuitive use of impasto. This will be the UNESCO award winning artist's first exhibition outside of Italy.
