An exhibition showcasing a rarely seen group of unique ceramics by the renowned Martin brothers. This exhibition will trace the four brother’s progress as artists, revealing their extraordinary imaginations and eccentric personalities. From the establishment of their Fulham workshop in 1837, the Martins brothers experiments with their Kilns, designs, techniques, glazes and forms achieved frenzied and eratic success. “Wally Birds from the British Museum will join the Martinware and other Arts and Crafts period pieces from the Southwark Art Collection.
