Dogs need a variety of products on a day to day basis – food, treats, chews, supplements and other accessories. So we dog owners need to shop a lot. And whilst there are some incredible on-line dog stores, it’s nice to sometimes make an effort to visit and enjoy the experience – with our without our canine companions.
London is the capital of England – which has to be the world’s most dog-friendly country. And if we’re honest, we also like to spoil our dogs occasionally – whether it’s with a natty little outfit for our pampered companion or a smart, practical coat and travel items for our larger working hounds.
So here’s our list of the best shopping experiences for dogs in London.
Not only are there amazing custom made leather products and more crystals than you can shake a stick at, but a red carpet outside and a dog themed and dog friendly café and bar in this most fashionable of locations.
A calm, subtle and elegant store for only the most discerning of dogs within gentle strolling distance of Victoria. This really is where you can dress to impress.
OK – it’s a little out of town, but if it’s good enough for TOWIE then it’s good enough for us. “Bling is King” at this sparkly store and there’s a salon here too, which even does doggy nail varnish. Football kit for macho boy dogs too.

Fabulous wall art in the outside areas, a good selection of products and grooming services as well. And opposite Waterlow Park for a walk before or after your visit.
Not the easiest place to find, but not too far from Holland Park, and a great selection of reasonably priced items from a dog loving family-run business that does entertaining window displays.
With fabulous walks around Hampton Court and Bushey Park and numerous al fresco cafes nearby, this pet gift store has dog (and cat) gifts for every occasion.
A different kind of dog boutique, offering pet photography, design-led gifts for humans, home decor and daily essentials too. The shop features a "treat bar" reminiscent of an old time sweet shop and is always showing Dog TV for pooches to enjoy while humans shop.
Although it’s on the fourth floor of an office building, this is an Aladdin’s cave of fabulous dog products. They specialise in harnesses but have lots of dog outfits too – including a special range for Chihuahuas.
