Indie threesome Little Comets took to the stage at The Garage in Islington last night for a spectacular gig. The band played to a sell-out crowd of young fans who wasted no time in belting out the words to their favourite tracks, showing the group have a well-established loyal following. Their indie beats versus pop feel have clearly gained a lot of respect already.
Highlights included the incredible catchy Joanna, Thunder and Dancing Song which had the entire audience singing in unison (even the older ones), much to the delight of band-mambers Robert Coles, Michael Coles and Matthew Hall. The were echoes of the very distinctive Dancing Song from the fans well after the show had ended and the band seemed very humble by the crowd's response.
Little Comets were a quartet until very recently when previous drummer Mark Harle left to pursue solo work. The current line up will release their brand new single, Worry, on 12 December. Their album In Search Of Elusive Little Comets is available now. Find out more at http://www.littlecomets.com/
