Following on from our post about the fabulous Amazon exhibition taking place at Somerset House (www.allinlondon.co.uk/whats-on.php?event=75760), a fantastic competition has been set up to mark the event. The exhibition itself is free to enter and is in aid of Sky Rainforest Rescue - and if you do visit, you'll get to see the works of top photographers Sebastiao Salgado and Per-Anders Pettersson, who have showcased some of their captured images to raise awareness of the deforestation in Brazil.
But to win the chance to have YOUR own photographs on display alongside these incredible images, all you have to do is enter this competition set up by Sky and WWF. Firstly, you must capture 'Your Own Amazon' - which could be anything from a stunning landscape or scene you have snapped, or even just a favourite tree, your garden in full bloom or something entirely separate that you find beautiful.
Then submit your entry by following @SkyBiggerPic on Twitter and Tweeting your entry using the hashtag #SkyRainforest.
Sky and WWF say every submission will be put on the Sky Rainforest Rescue Facebook page and the winners will be picked on the 22nd November 2011.
If you do win, not only will you be able to see your work on display at the exhibition at Somerste House, but you'll also win yourself a brand new digital SLR camera. So get clicking!
