MOVIE PREVIEW: Have a cosy night in with The Lion King 3D

London Art Scene from The Art Stop

It's a Disney favourite, it's one of the cutest stories ever told. And now, it's coming at us in 3D.

We don't need to tell you the story of The Lion King (and if we do - where have you been? Hiding under some sort of rock?), but what we will say is that if you missed The Lion King 3D at the cinema, then you missed a real treat. Because there is nothing quite like seeing scenes like the wildebeast stampede or the elephant graveyard coming right at you, out of the screen.

But thankfully the much-loved children's film is heading to Sky 3D - so soon, you'll be able to cosy up under a duvet and lose yourself in this Disney Classic from the comfort of your own home. Oh yes.

Of course the magic of the movie in 2D is spectacular enough - but we can't tell you just how special this version is too. So if you're at home on Sunday night and fancy cuddling up with the kids, the neighbours' kids or any little ones you can get your hands on (little ones you know, obviously), then we would thoroughly recommend tuning in. Altogether now... "Hakuna Matata... "

The Lion King in 3D, Sky Movies 3D, Sunday 27 November at 6.30pm

NB. These two fierce lions above joined Sky Movies at their Lion King 3D launch. Scary.
