Charity: Celebrities donate designer handbags for Save The Children appeal

London Art Scene from The Art Stop

It's always nice when famous sorts come together for charity - and this time we're seeing the likes of Samantha Cameron, Erin O'Connor, Gemma Artherton, Sienna Miller, Pixie Lott and Georgia May Jagger all join forces to support Save The Children's Bag to Save a Life Appeal.

50 celebrities have donated their very own DESIGNER handbags for an online auction, which begins tomorrow (Friday 25 November). Samantha Cameron has donated a Jimmy Choo bag, Sienna Miller a Miu Miu bag, Tilda Swinton has donated a bag from Chanel and a bag from Victor & Rolf, while Gemma Arterton has donated a leather patent Prada bag. Even Claire Danes has got in on the action with a bag straight from Jimmy Choo too.

As we say, the auction goes live tomorrow and you can find ALL the details right here www.savethechildren.org.uk/bagtosave.

But if you want to eye up the prizes before you bid, there's a ONE-OFF CHANCE to PREVIEW some of the terrific bags up for grabs TONIGHT at Mary's Living & Giving Shop in Westbourne Grove. From 6 - 7pm, Save The Children will be hosting an advanced preview - and it's your one chance to see all the swanky creations live before they go up for auction. It's definitely worth a look! How to bid: Once you've seen the preview or headed over to the website and decided which bag you want to get your mitts on - all you have to do is keep an eye on the bids tomorrow. Save The Children have promised that prices will start at just a quarter of each bags' recommended retail price (amazing) - which could mean you pick up a real bargain.

And of course, you must remember that the money earned from the auction will be used to deliver life-saving healthcare to children around the world. It's an important cause.

To preview the celebrity-designed bags, head to Mary's Living & Giving Shop between 6 and 7pm tonight. It's located at 177 Westbourne Grove, London, W11 2SB. The Bag TO Save A Life auction kicks off tomorrow at www.savethechildren.org.uk/bagtosave and runs until Sunday 4 December. Good luck!
