With the London 2012 Olympic Games over and London making a huge collective sigh at the thought of going back to 'normal life', I have some summer tipple news which may just cheer you up.
London's Park Plaza Hotels have been celebrating the Team GB spirit all thoughout the Olympic Games by offering some brightly-coloured Olympic-themed cocktails at their Westminster Bridge, County Hall, Victoria, Sherlock Holmes and Riverbank venues.
And thankfully, they've told us that they definitely will not be stopping the celebrations yet - and plan to keep their sporty summer cocktail menu going until after we've been dazzled by the amazing Paralympic Games too! YES!
On offer until Sunday 9 September are five aptly-named colourful treats - there is the Bolt Out Of The Blue (a long cocktail with a Caribbean burst), the Finishing Line (a summery short with lots of flare) Off With A Bang (punchy), the Roadrunner (a twist on an old classic and the False Start (which is a fruity dream).
Mouth-watering? Ours is. We'll see you down at the Park Plaza hotel bars.
