MUSIC NEWS: Hit Factory Live is rescheduled!

London Art Scene from The Art Stop

Just when we were all giving up hope of enjoying that promised 1980s-slash-early'90s music fix, good news arrives. Pete Waterman has rescheduled his Hit Factory Live concert for 21 December at the 02 Arena... and the line up is still very exciting.

Sadly, Kylie Minogue is not down to perform this time - but Jason Donovan, Bananarama, Rick Astley, Steps, Sonia, Brother Beyond and a whole host of other PWL cheese masters are on the list.

You may remember that the original one-off show was cancelled back in July after torrential rain completely wrecked Hyde Park, meaning it wasn't safe to let 80,000 Kylie & Jason fans loose in those conditions. Now, the event will take place under a closed roof (phew) and will still be a huge celebration to mark the PWL label and Stock Aitken Waterman songwriting team's 25th anniversary.

Pete Waterman said, : “Hit Factory Live - Christmas Cracker will be the biggest and best celebration of SAW and PWL ever. This will be the perfect party to commemorate our 25th anniversary. We were devastated when Hyde Park's Hit Factory Live had to be cancelled but now the party is back on with an epic line-up of our classic artists!".

Obviously we're still hoping Kylie will show up - but even if she doesn't, we're ready for the pop extravaganza of 2012.

Tickets are available for The Hit Factory Live - Christmas Cracker event at www.ticketmaster.co.uk. The show at the 02 Arena starts at 7.30pm and tickets cost £49.50 (plus booking fee).
