Theatre and cocktails make a ruddy marvellous night out – so thank you to the folks behind West End production Dirty Dancing, who have teamed up with London bar, Jewel Piccadilly, to create a special edition cocktail for ONE WEEK ONLY.
The ‘I Carried A Watermelon Mojito’ (see what they’ve done there?) is being dished out to celebrate National Watermelon Day (yes, really), from Monday 5 August to Monday 12 August – which means there are still six precious days to enjoy this one-off glass of deliciousness!
So why the Jewel Bar? Well, this was where the official Dirty Dancing Opening Night after party took place, so they are friends of the crew. Plus, the bar is just a few minutes away from the Piccadilly Theatre, where the West End performances takes place.
The cocktail itself is just 115 calories (i.e. suitable for those watching their bikini bods) and was created by super-savvy mixologist Jack Williams at Late Night London.
