THREE OF LONDON'S BEST FESTIVE BAKES

Love London

Looking for a sweet treat to tickle those tastebuds this Christmas? Whether you’re after a little something to send as a gift or something yummy for the family at home, these are three of our favourites.

Baked By Steph’s Christmas Cookies

Almost too pretty to actually eat, Baked By Steph’s vanilla or gingerbread cookies are available in a host of super cute designs and make for a dreamy Christmas gift. We’re big fans of the Candyland designs pictured and, what’s more, they fit through the letterbox.

Konditor’s Christmas Stars Chocolate Noisette Cake

It’s no secret these guys make some of the tastiest cakes in town (if you haven’t tried it, the Curly Wurly Superstar is another favourite), and this festive taste sensation features three layers of moist, wheat-free hazelnut and dark chocolate sponge, sandwiched and finished with smooth mascarpone gianduja icing. Add your message of up to 25 characters piped on top and a border of marzipan stars and it’s the perfect addition to any festive teatime. We tried one last week that was demolished in minutes…

Ole & Steen’s Christmas Social

Danish bakery Ole & Steen knows a thing or two about festive bakes. Their Christmas Trees Marshmallow Whips and Christmas cookies sound delightful, but our eyes are on the Kløben Brød, Danish stollen, studded with Christmas raisins, orange and lemon candied peel and gently spiced with cardamom and this rather special looking Christmas Social, a festive twist on the Ole & Steen favourite with cinnamon dough, filled with custard and orange jam, topped with chocolate icing, gold dusted flaked almonds and crispy white chocolate pearls. We know what we’ll be ordering for Christmas morning.
