There are just two weeks to go until the biggest annual celebration of volunteering and volunteers takes place across Britain. To highlight this contribution, there is a burst of activity in early June when a host of organisations from the public, private and charity sectors hold parties and award ceremonies to thank their volunteers and highlight their contribution to local groups and the wider community, while individuals are encouraged to use the Week to find out more about volunteering. Stepney City Farm- London- City Farm Open Day Stepney City Farm will be having an open day and welcoming new volunteers onto the farm! Please come along to visit the farm and learn about the range of volunteering opportunities on the farm that focus on growing, animals, the arts, working with young people and gaining experience in an community organisation.
