Ally Pally confirms exciting line-up for Autumn 2010; Lynx Halloween All-nighter, LCD Soundsystem, Hot Chip & Vampire Weekend

Iconic London venue, Alexandra Palace, is pleased to announce its exciting event line-up for autumn / winter 2010. In keeping with its live music heritage, Alexandra Palace will also be announcing a number of other top artists set to play this autumn, so keep an eye out for further details.

The Lynx Halloween All-Nighter on October 30th will give party fans a chance to celebrate alongside some of the worlds finest DJs; supported by live performances from several chart topping artists, including Professor Green and Roll Deep (more acts to be announced). Other attractions on the night will include fairground rides, giant screens, a breathtaking laser and lights display and three rooms of music, the Lynx All-Nighter is a new standard in the London clubbing scene. ‘10,000 people, 15 DJ’s, 1 Palace’

November 10th will see pioneering dance-punk band, LCD Soundsystem - supported by electronic pop colossus, Hot Chip - open their UK tour at Ally Pally.

Fans will be treated to a mix of dance, punk and electronic pop as hits from both past and present; Drunk Girls, Daft Punk is Playing at my House - are guaranteed to be crowd pleasers.

Anyone who witnessed Wireless or Glastonbury, will know that LCD are still one of the most explosive and relevant live bands around today.

Supporting LCD will be electronic pop band, Hot Chip who have also been doing the festival circuit; recently performing at Glastonbury as penultimate headliners on the Other Stage. Following critical acclaim for their single, One Life Stand the band is looking forward to winning a host of new fans with their distinct sound.

December 2nd will then see Ally Pally host top New York Indie rock band, Vampire Weekend, as they end their UK tour in style at London’s largest standing venue.

The gig will be a great end to 2010 for the band, which will have seen them play on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury, T in the Park and the Latitude Festival. Hits such as Cousins and Giving up the Gun are bound to go down well with the crowd.

Alexandra Palace has already hosted a multitude of top music acts and events over the decades, including: Stone Roses, the MTV Europe Music Awards, Blur, The Strokes, Paul Weller, Bullet for My Valentine and hip-hop royalty, Jay-Z.

The venue has welcomed musicians of stellar proportions who have performed to millions of people over the decades; artists such as Hendrix, Jagger, Weller and more recently Jay-Z. 2010 is something of a musical resurgence for the Palace. We've begun an investment programme to bring it up to 21st century standards without losing the unique qualities that make it such a special place to watch artists perform. I can't wait for the first chord to be struck as we launch our Autumn concert season."
