Stephen Webster's Bijoux Afternoon Tea at The Langham

Love London

To celebrate the launch of iconic jeweller Stephen Webster's latest collection, he has teamed up with the equally iconic Langham Hotel, and their Executive Pastry Chef Cherish Finden, to create the sublime Stephen Webster Bijoux Afternoon Tea. The tea has been inspired by Stephen's most recent jewellery collection ‘Murder She Wrote’, which uses diamonds and colourful stones to create dramatic, statement pieces.

After a first course of luxury sandwiches including foie gras and apple, lobster with piquillo peppers and flying fish roe and poached quail breast with grapes and violet, as well as indulgent chocolate scones, the incredible collection of intricately designed cakes and patisseries is the perfect treat for any fashionista.

Each unique creation is based on one of Webster's designs, including the Crystal Clear Diamond, a lightly perfumed Guinness macaroon with blackcurrant jelly, the Poison Apple, a red peppercorn and dark chocolate shortbread, and a roasted green pistachio Chantilly with airy meringue sponge inspired by Stephen Webster’s Armadillo ring.

In the elegantly refined setting of The Langham's Palm Court, the Stephen Webster Bijoux Afternoon Tea is a deliciously indulgent treat, perfect for a Sunday afternoon!

The Stephen Webster Bijoux Afternoon Tea is priced at £49 per person and is available from 1st September 2011. For more information visit www.palm-court.co.uk
