1. Doc Brown, at Bloomsbury Theatre (Thursday)
One of comedy's brightest new stars, comic-rapper Doc Brown tells the story of his life so far, which came a whisker away from infamy, but has only found unfamy.

2. Best of the Fest, at Pleasance Theatre (Thursday)
A bunch of talented sketch and character acts descend on the Pleasance to performs the best bits of their Edinburgh 2011 shows. Featuring Idiots of Ants, The Beta Males, Sheeps (pictured), Max and Ivan and Fraser Millward.

3. The Boat Show, at Tattershall Castle (Friday)
The paddle steamer of mirth moored by the London Eye welcomes hip-hop partystarters Abandoman, excellent rogue Carl Donnelly, one of the best in the business Paul Sinha and top MC Craig Murray. (Friday.)

4. Circus Comedy, at Arcola Theatre Tent (Saturday)
The Arcola Tent in Dalston is up and ready to receive some comedy. On the bill tonight are Edinburgh Comedy Award winner Adam Riches, the awesome Andrew Maxwell, surrealist Canadian Tony Law, Colin Hoult, MCs the Real MacGuffins and confrontational clown Dr Brown.

5. The Comedy Store Players, at the Comedy Store (Sunday)
The mighty Comedy Store Players return for another night of amazing improv, with Paul Merton, Lee Simpson, Richard Vranch, Andy Smart, Neil Mullarkey and Marcus Brigstocke. Ont of London's must-sees.
