Top 5 comedy gigs this week

London's Comedy Blog

Hello comedy fans!

Here are LondonisFunny.com's pick of the week's live comedy shows - two of which are on tonight, so get your skates on!

1. Six of the Best - Comedy Store, Piccadilly
Jack Dee, John Moloney, Andre Vincent, Tim Clark, Wayne Deakin and Al Barrie perform as part of a fundraiser for ADCAF (The Abandoned and Destitute Children’s Appeal Fund). (Monday)

2. The Monday Club 15th Birthday Bash, Embankment
The anniversary show for one of London's finest comedy clubs is appropriately awesome, with whirligig Phil Nichol, old-school cockney Lee Hurst, exquisite MC Tom Allen and two very special guests who can’t be named ... (they're both dead famous and ace comics). (Monday)

3. Crack Comedy Club, Islington
A particularly good one this week at the Slug and Lettuce in Islington, with the under-rated Carey Marx, top sketch group Jigsaw and the superb Michael Fabbri. The highly entertaining Erich McElroy is MC. (Thursday)

4. Freeze!, Dalston
Tim Key and Tom Basden's oddball duo are touring London’s compass-points, hitting the Arcola Tent in east London this weekend. Key and Basden are Edinburgh Comedy Award winners 2009 and 2007, respectively. (Friday)

5. Brendon Burns, Bloomsbury Theatre
The 2010 Edinburgh show by award-winning Aussie stand-up Burns. He's brash, bright, philosophical and filthy, and an all-round brilliant comic. £12 is a bargain for this. (Saturday)

All these and hundreds of other listings are at londonisfunny.com.

Have a good week!
