Always on the pulse of the beauty products we need to know about, beauty box subscription service Glossybox last month celebrated April 22nd’s Earth Day with a very special green box, packed with organic, fair-trade and eco-friendly beauty treats. The limited edition 100% biodegradable box contained five luxury sample sizes of some of the most natural beauty products available.
The box contained a full size Inika eyeliner pencil, with a great smudge factor (always important) and a gorgeous plum shade. Half of the Inika product range is Certified Organic, the other half comprises of 100% pure mineral makeup. All their products are Vegan, Certified Halal and Certified Cruelty Free. Other products included a natural Burt’s Bees body lotion, organic Peppermint & Tea Tree Balm from Figs & Rouge, Monu’s Collagen Cream and a Caudalie Vinosource Serum – a fab selection of eco-friendly beauty brands I wasn’t familiar with.
Celebrating its first birthday as I type, Glossybox continues to surprise and delight with its collaborations (who could forget the amazing Harrods box?) and limited editions and it’s exciting to find out what might be coming next.
