Cocorose London Launches new Royal Ballet Collection

Love London

London's premier foldable footwear brand Cocorose London has joined forces with the Royal Ballet to launch an exclusive collection, inspired by the heritage and dancers of the iconic London institution.

Established in May 2007 as a start up business in an East London market, Cocorose London has grown into an award winning brand with stockists around the world, as well as London retail landmarks such as Fortnum & Mason and Fenwick. Their innovative foldable ballet pumps compact into a handy purse - ideal for handbags, travelling and glove boxes!

The Cocorose London website offers a host of different designs, from a casual black ballet pump at £45, to the non-foldable Luxury Heritage Collection of leather styles, handmade in England, retailing at £130.

The latest addition to the Cocorose London portfolio is the Royal Ballet collection the first style of which, the Aurora (£50), launched earlier this summer. Nude pink with a hand-stitched, black toe cap, the ballet-inspired shoes feature a black mesh bow with sparkling diamante centre. Presented in a matching nude pink, travel purse, with an accompanying black satin shoulder bag folded into its back pocket.

To celebrate the launch of the collection, Tara Bhavnani, Nathalie Harrison and Romany Padjak, First Artist Ballerinas from The Royal Ballet, modelled the shoes in an exclusive fashion shoot on location in the magnificent Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, with fashions from Jacques Azagury and other British brands including Phase Eight.

My Cocorose London foldable pumps have become a handbag staple; I love heels, but not when running for buses or at 2am on Saturday night after dancing for 6 hours! These are the perfect solution, the ideal fit for my clutch bag and blissfully comfortable to slip your feet into at the end of a busy day, or night!

The Aurora shoes from Cocorose London are available now from www.cocoroselondon.com
