Tusting's Heritage Leathers Launch into Selfridges

Love London

British heritage leather brand Tusting has launched a selection of their styles into iconic London department store Selfridges, including the popular Fisherman, Clipper and Melchbourne satchels, the Weekender and Explorer holdalls as well as the Harrold collection in deep green.

Recognised as being one of the finest manufacturers of leather goods in the world, Tusting, founded in 1875, is an independent, family-run business, a quintessentially British brand with experience in the leather industry spanning back over 135 years; the great, great grandfather of the current directors established his leather tannery close to the site of the present workshop, and began supplying the Northamptonshire shoe trade with the leather it required to build a worldwide reputation for quality.

Five generations later, and now one of the largest manufacturers of leather luggage in England, Tusting lovingly reinvests all of their years of experience in every bag that is carefully handcrafted in their Bedfordshire based factory. Some of England’s finest craftsmen and women, ensure that Tusting products are unmistakeable in terms of their exceptional quality and character. The current product range includes classic English satchel briefcases, holdalls, ladies’ handbags, accessories and traditionally styled leather furniture.
