Browns to open new Sloane Street store

Love London

London landmark Browns will next week open a new flagship store on Sloane Street.

Designed by Creative Director of Browns, Caroline Burstein (daughter of the eponymous Mrs B who founded the empire) the store is a collaboration with Burstein's long time friends Joel Bernstein, previously co-owner of the fashionista’s favourite tea room and chocolate shop, Cocomaya, to create a space which is truly befitting of Browns’ leading reputation and clientele.

The new 1200ft store, larger than the previous Sloane Street residence, will showcase some of the world's most exciting designers already carried in Browns, as well as highlighting the personal service the iconic company is celebrated for.

Caroline and Joel have made a conscious decision to work directly with a small team of craftsmen and artists to create an intimate space in which Browns’ clients will immediately feel at home. Every detail has been cherry-picked to reflect both Browns heritage and the surrounding Chelsea neighborhood. Behind the beautiful shop frontage raw and natural materials will be used to create a warm, elegant and inviting backdrop to Browns collections.

Throughout the project, the emphasis has been on creating a beautifully bespoke new home for Sloane Street Browns. To celebrate this sense of intimate occasion Browns and Cocomaya will be serving champagne teas every Thursday afternoon throughout July.
