CELEBRATING PEACE: Elton John closes London 2012 Festival

London Art Scene from The Art Stop

Friday 21 September will be a very special day at Wembley Arena, when fans of Sir Elton John will come together to support him at the Peace One Day concert.

The show will be one of the final events of the London 2012 celebrations and will be Sir Elton's only London show of the year.

Peace One Day has been working tirelessly for 13 years to promote Peace across the world. In 2001, the organisaion encouraged UN member states to agree to the first ever annual day of glabal ceasefire - this day is the 21st of September. And THIS is why we'll be celebrating.

Sir Elton will be joined by singer-songwriter James Morrison and Internet sensation 2Cellos for the show, as well as Peace One Day's ambassador Jude Law. Carnegie Wateler, the organisation's founder, will also be present.

And what a cause this is to celebrate - not only because it's a day of peace, love and goodness but also because it marks the end of the London 2012 Festival. After the last few months of amazing achievements we've witnessed in our capital, it's time to bid farewell to London's most exciting events to date.

So why not come down and celebrate with Sir Elton, Jude, Carnegie, us and thousands of other Londoners?

Tickets are available to buy from www.seetickets.com and www.wembleyarena.co.uk - or call 0844 815 0815 or 0871 231 0835.
