Hello!

Your weekly pick of this week's live comedy coming up, courtesy of London comedy guide LondonisFunny.com's ...

Simon Munnery, La Concepta – Soho Theatre
A truly bizarre but nourishing comedy show from alternative comedy hero Munnery. La Concepta is "an exclusive non-dining restaurant that offers eight non-diners at a time, all the rigmarole of haute cuisine without the shame of eating." (Every day until October 28)

Austentatious – Leicester Square Theatre
Calling all period drama fans – Austentatious is a comedy improv show where a group of talented comics and actors make up a "lost" Jane Austen novel on the spot using nothing but audience suggestions. (Tuesday)

Danny Bhoy, Bloomsbury Theatre
This charming Scottish comic resides in Australia for much of the year so take this chance to catch his latest show, Dear Epson. Not the most original comic in the world but he's on superb form at the moment. (Weds-Fri)

PLEB Talks Live – secret locaion
A unorthodox event at a secret location in central London, PLEB Talks is a series of comedy lectures all stitched together by ace MC Nish Kumar. Taking the lectern are multimedia mentalist David Trent, sing-song surrealist Pat Cahill, John-Luke Roberts, Ian Smith, DIY comic Bec Hill, the political Joe Wells, Rick Turpin, prop-based oddball Ben Target and Rick Turpin. (Thursday)

London Irish Comedy Festival – the London Irish Centre
A new mini-festival featuring quality Irish comics including Andrew Maxwell, Abandoman, Cariad Lloyd and more. (Fri-Sun)
