7 Ways to Look and Feel Amazing this Summer!

London Healthy Living - Attitude To Food Blog

Summer is here and I have a renewed spring in my step. Thanks to genius Wordpress guru John at Zazazoo, my website is finally humming and I have a new coach ...who has sent me into overdrive!

So, I'm making the most of every single second by switching in a few new habits that are replacing some not-so-great habits I developed over the long winter! Want to change it up with me so you look and feel amazing this Summer too?

1. Getting up 1-2 hours earlier, means that I'm jumpstarting my day, every day. I'm getting so much more done, and I feel proud of myself too ...that's a nice feeling and I want more, so it's spurring me on to maintain what I'm doing and figure out what else I can do that makes me happy.

2. I'm incorporating a lot more self care into my day. I've always been good at pushing myself hard, and I've noticed that my energy levels have been down recently ...not something I'm used to, and I didn't like that at all! ...so I've been focusing on things that top up my soul, and I've been making me a priority in my day ...felt a little weird at first, but now I'm loving it, and guess what?! It's really zipped up my energy levels!

3. I clean-up and make a to-do list before I go to sleep ...I don't go crazy rather, just make sure the kitchen sink sparkles, and plump a few cushions ...then I list three things I want to get done the next day ...that way I don't spend half the next day figuring out what I should do that day because I have a clean slate and I'm clear about what I'm focusing on. It's had an amazing effect on productivity, and my stress levels!

4. As well as the self care piece, I'm keeping a gratitude journal so I'm focusing on all the good I have, instead of what's driving me crazy. I'm working on a 21 Day Self Care Challenge at the mo' which'll include stress tests and an emotional detox plan ...more news on that later, but you're welcome to email me for a Self Care Template in the meantime ...it really makes a difference!

5. I'm listening ...to my intuition that is. I'm making a real effort to tap into that innate intelligence we all have ...and, instead of ignoring it, and continuing with a stressy day ...I'm letting it lead the way.

6. I'm eating better too. Yup, I'm focusing on the five pillars of health; good sleep, healthy hormone balance, stable blood sugar levels, detox'ing and removal of as much stress as I can make happen!

7 ...and last but not least, I'm reaching out for the support I need. Whether it be a coach to help me to get unstuck and then take easy-to-implement action steps so I consistently meet the objectives I've set myself, to using apps that I've known about for a while, but never made the time to set up ...Evernote, Any to do and Pocket are totally changing my life at the moment, and I'll keep you posted on any other goodies I find too!

...there must be an 8th, 9th and 10th! so if you have any suggestions I'd love to hear them!!
