Keep up to date with the V&A... but first catch a plane!

The All In London Blog

Desperate to catch up with all the best from the V&A? Some sort of dedicated TV channel would be good, wouldn't it?

Well, hey-presto, the TV gods are listening... from this autumn there will be one: making available a selection of entertaining, informative and beautifully-shot films from October.

How do I sign up? Well, you'll have to buy a ticket for a BA flight and watch it as part of their in-flight entertainment.

The new channel will feature 15 films focusing on the Museum’s collections as well as interviews with designers including Philip Treacy and Dieter Rams. There will also be profiles design luminaries like Alexander McQueen whose recent retrospective exhibition was the V&A’s most popular show ever.

The channel follows up on the success of the Tate and BFI Channels that launched on BA flights earlier this year.
