A Trio of Hair Treats

Love London

Let’s face it, with a bajillion brands of hair product on the market, choosing which one to believe can be something of a tricky task. I’ve certainly tried my fair share in recent years, some good, some bad, some ugly, but these are three that I keep coming back to.

If you haven’t heard of Sachajuan, it’s a deliciously Scandinavian (couldn’t you tell?) brand from Stockholm’s most celebrated salon. The Ocean Mist range (from £10 each at www.cultbeauty.co.uk) adds instant oomph, perfect for beefing up the texture of fine (i.e. mine) hair. Building volume is the name of the game.

Originally developed for use on horses, Mane ’n Tail has become a cult classic in the last few years. The original micro-enriched protein formula shampoo promotes gentle cleansing, without stripping natural oils, for fuller, stronger, longer, healthier hair. You can feel the difference in just one wash. From £5.99 available at www.boots.com

Haircare is a fairly recent addition to the ESPA range, having only arrived last year, but for truly spa-worthy locks the Purifying Shampoo and Nourishing Conditioner (£20 each at www.espaskincare.com) can’t be beaten. They smell utterly divine; if you’ve ever had an ESPA spa treatment you know the drill, fresh, herbaceous, sumptuously relaxing. With coconut, jojoba and olive oils to leave hair soft, shiny and easy to style, plus protein-rich soy, wheat and corn extracts to ensure hair is revitalised and lustrous, your hair will thank you.
