London Dog Blog – Dog drop-in nutritional clinic and dog brunch at Squirrel, South Kensington

Dogs in London - The London Dog Blog

This year celebrate National Dog Week with some ‘hound’ advice from the professionals. On 28th September, Squirrel in South Kensington will be hosting a nutritional drop-in service for dog lovers and their four legged companions. Squirrel’s co-owner and head nutritionist, Zoe Stirling will be teaming up with expert doggy nutritionist, Moddie Lambert to give an MOT for man and their best friend.

Squirrel has always welcomed their fellow furry friends into the tree house, but this year they wanted to extend their message of a balanced and nutritious diet to dogs as well as their owners. The ‘drop-in’ clinic will consist of a one on one chat with Zoe & Moddie, the session will begin with a day-to-day nutritional breakdown, following which they will advise on how to best promote a healthy lifestyle simply through changes in our diets. Guests can book in for the half hour MOT from 11am – 2pm or 3pm – 5pm. Each session costs £25 and guests will receive a nutritional ‘doggy-bag’ of Poppy’s Picnic’s Biologically Appropriate Raw Food (BARF) treats to take home with them.

To launch the Healthy Hounds’ Hangout, Squirrel will be hosting a doggy brunch on 23rd September. Owners can tuck into Squirrel’s healthy breakfast offerings, and leave the bones at home for Poppy’s Picnic who will be on hand serving their BARF dog food for our furry eared friends to get their paws on. Guests can hang with the pros from Poppy’s Picnic and get the inside scoop on what makes the perfect nutritious meal for their canine comrades whilst certified doggy nutritionist, Moddie Lambert will host an exclusive Q&A.
