The facial workout you never knew you needed

Love London

A workout for your face? It may sound like a ridiculously frivolous, indulgent luxury but trust me, this is one workout you will want to partake in.

The UK’s only gym studio for the face (stay with me…) FaceGym is original non-invasive face workout, designed to train the 40+ muscles in the face with a range of lifting and sculpting moves.

FaceGym’s founder, Inge Theron, travelled the world writing for the Financial Times reviewing spas, sweating through fitness classes, experimenting with anti-ageing treatments and enduring detoxes, but it was after a face procedure left her house bound that she decided it was time to act and create a non-invasive, zero- risk, face lifting solution that really worked.

The result is a menu of over a dozen difference prescriptions dependent on the indidual’s needs. From their classic 30 minute ‘Siganture’ to a tailored treatment for mums to be, a lifting and sculpting regime to combat ‘Runner Face’, a 40 minute ‘Hollywood Lunchtime Lift’ and even the ‘Hangover Cure’ (pitched as “a Bloody Marie for your face”), there’s a solution to every facial need.

I recently enountered ‘The Signature’, a ‘warm up, cardio, strength and cool down’, involving facial massage with a jade roller to encourage lymphatic drainage and a session with the FaceGym Pro, an instant non-invasive face lift device (a bit like a mini massager), which is also available to purchase. After 30 short minutes the difference was instantly noticeable, particularly around the eye area which was lifted and perked up like no cream has ever managed. A smoother jawline and tighter cheekbones were the other pleasant side effects, something that could become a permanent fixture with regular at home massage sessions, though at £399 the FaceGym Pro is a serious investment.

For a facial uplift ahead of a big event (or after.. see the aforementioned Hangover Cure…) this is definitely a secret weapon worth noting in your little black book.
