Forty Hall is a Grade 1 listed Jacobean Manor House, nestled in leafy Enfield and set amidst pleasure gardens, ancient royal parkland, majestic trees, lakes and watercourses.

Following a major refurbishment project, funded by Enfield Council and the Heritage Lottery Fund, the Hall boasts newly decorated interiors and a new permanent exhibition telling the story of Forty Hall & Estate throughout the ages and looking at the life and times of Sir Nicholas Rainton, the original owner. With a range of visual and audio interpretation and displays there are ample ways for all of the family to engage with learning about the Hall in an enjoyable way.

Guided tours are also on offer at the Hall, led by a Jacobean character, to add value to your visit and further your understanding of the Hall's history. With tours that focus on Sir Nicholas Rainton, the Hall's stunning architecture and the story of Forty Hall & Estate there is plenty to choose from.

The annual events and exhibition programme focuses on Art, Ecology and Heritage.
