The Vestry House Museum is a local history museum and centre acting on behalf of the community as a centre for the collection, preservation and interpretation of Waltham Forest's history.
The Vestry building's own history dates back to 1830 when it was built as a centre for local administration and governance. It later became part of the Workhouse of the area an housed paupers unable to support themselves.
The Museum's opening times are Wednesday to Sunday 10am to 5pm.
