Victoria Park

Victoria Park in the East End borders parts of Bethnal Green, Hackney, and Bow and itself lies within the London Borough of Tower Hamlets.

The park was opened to the public in 1845 in order to give the east of the city a park like Regent's Park. Victoria Park also used to have its own Speakers' Corner. You’ll find a variety of trees such as oak trees, horse chestnut trees, cherry trees and hawthorn trees across the park as well as a variety of flowers and fauna.

Victoria Park offers a number of lakes, a beautiful fountain and the well-known sculptures of the Dogs of Alcibiades, as well as an Old English Garden, flowers and shrubs and a children's playground.
