They could improve by actually letting people into their club. To get in, you have the fourth degree, have your pockets and clothes searched, interrogation along the lines of "what have you been taking? Nothing? Come on, be honest, what have you been taking? Do you think we're stupid? What have you been taking? etc etc." If you get through this, they will take your pulse. Apparently there are drugs which raise your heart rate (there are also drugs that lower your rate, so this proves what??).
I understand that they have to have a drugs policy but this is really, really unpleasant, especially if, like me, you never ever use drugs. It comes as quite a shock to be told that they have decided you are obviously a drug user and are refused entry.
But, they did me a favour because who wants to be treated like a criminal? Remember, the door to the street is open and you ARE allowed to leave. You are NOT under arrest and you do not have to comply with their stupid questions and

The map (like most google maps) is wrong. The Hoist is actually on south lambeth road, very near to the last l of Vauxhall on the google map. If you're not gay and into the hard scene, this is not for you. If you are, enjoy!
