My wife and I have been visiting the Boathouse regularly since it first opened in 2016. We have made so many great friends there in that time.
It's a small cafe and bar with a lovely outside terrace, which is particularly nice in the summertime.
They have a huge range of drinks (craft beers) and fabulous cocktails. There is a happy hour on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 5 pm to 7 pm.
The best thing about it is the super-friendly owner, Derrick Daniel. He goes out of his way to make sure everyone is made very welcome.
